We made these on Thursday and they're really good! Katelyn got the recipe from her mom and she said that you can freeze any left overs and they'll taste just as good as they did when you first made them! Just a helpful hint about the ham loaf: it's actually ground ham, but if you get it at Fareway it's called ham loaf and you can get it at the meat counter! We went on a scavenger hunt around Brookings looking for ham loaf and got a lot of weird looks. If the Fareway in South Dakota wasn't an hour away we probably would have gone there to get it, but oh well! Enjoy this recipe, it's a good one! :)
Ingredients
2 lb ham loaf or ground ham
1 lb ground beef
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
BBQ sauce
Process
1. Mix all ingredients together in that order
2. Form the mixture into balls (we used a medium size ice cream scoop)
3. Put in a 9x13 pan (we had 2 full pans)
4. Pour BBQ sauce over top (we brushed them with it and made sure they were covered)
5. Put in oven for 1 hour at 325 degrees
Here's a picture of what they should look like! This isn't an actual picture of ours, but they should look like this except a little browner since there's a lot of BBQ sauce on ours!
