Hi everybody!

I made this blog so I am able show everybody in Iowa what I'm up to in South Dakota! I'm new to this whole blogging deal, but I hope that this way everybody will still be able to feel close to me when I'm so far away!  Food recipes, craft ideas, and what's going on in my life will be the main focuses of this blog and I hope you all enjoy it! :)

Most of you know everything about me, but here is a little information just in case!  I am a junior at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota!  My major is Early Childhood Education.  My area of focus is Birth to Age 8 and I will also have a Kindergarten endorsement after Fall 2015.  I will also have a minor in Human Development and Family Studies.  I haven't decided where I want to end up after I graduate, but I still have a little time to figure that out!  I now know that I will be graduating in December 2015 which is very exciting because I thought I was going to be in school for much longer than that!  Here in Brookings I live in an apartment with two friends, Katelyn and Danielle.  Katelyn is also an Early Childhood Education major and Danielle is a Math major! 

I am now (finally) working in Brookings!  I have a job at the movie theater doing concessions and selling tickets!  I also work at Hy-Vee as a Courtesy Clerk!
